WZ-31 Ludwikow Kielce 1939
Polish military steel helmet, model 1931 (VZ31). It was produced over 4 years from 1935 to 1939 at the Polish metallurgical factory Huta Ludwikow. Overall, 320 thousand helmets of this model were supplied for the needs of the Polish army by the beginning of the Second World War. This item was used in the Red army
after the defeat of Poland in initial period of WW2
. The helmet is not rotten, the metal is sturdy, it has not been in the ground. The liner and chin strap are a quality replica. Copper rivet with the stamp of military acceptance of the Polish army available. A very rare item for the collection.
