WZ-31 Ludwikow Kielce 1939
Polish military steel helmet, model 1931 (VZ31). It was produced over 4 years from 1935 to 1939 at the Polish metallurgical factory Huta Ludwikow. Overall, 320 thousand helmets of this model were supplied for the needs of the Polish army by the beginning of the Second World War. This helmet belonged to the Polish Border Guard Corps and was used in the first defensive battles of World War II in September 1939. The helmet is well preserved, absolutely intact, there were no rust, holes or cracks. Original chinstrap and metal tag with manufacturer`s name and year is preserved. The liner is a modern quality replica. Helmet from the collection. The shell is repainted. A very rare item for the collection.
